Information Technology Department
Technology is an integral component of educating our students in the 21st Century. The goal of the SCEC Instructional Technology Department (SCECIT) is to create and support technology-rich learning environments for our students and staff. The department is dedicated to supporting the district vision of student learning through the seamless implementation and integration of technology.
The SCECIT plans, implements and maintains the network infrastructure for six schools and three support buildings. In addition, the department designs professional development and assists teachers with integrating technology tools into the curriculum.
We are a 1:1 school district with PREK thru K having classroom cart with Apple IPads. Every classroom from 1st thru 6th has a cart of Chromebooks also on a 1:1. Lastly, the secondary schools have take home Chromebooks.
